If you’re happy with the estimate simply complete and print the repair request form & send it to us with your broken glasses.
Payment.
We will normally complete the repair within 2 working days from receipt of your glasses.
When complete, we will send you notification by e-invoice. The link takes you to PayPal secure payments terminal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you will be able to pay easily by credit/debit card. We can accept payment via phone if preferred.

FAQ
Can my glasses be repaired?
In most cases yes. We repair most spectacle materials and offer alternatives if this is not possible.
My plastic glasses look dull and faded?
Your glasses may be affected by detergents or hand sanitiser. This often gives them a chalk-like appearance. We can polish the material and restore the shine.
Do Spec-Care replace lenses?
We do not replace lenses. Spec-Care recommends you have lenses replaced by a registered practitioner.
Delivery
Delivery is normally by Courier or Royal Mail Signed service unless an alternative is expressly requested by the sender.
Spec-Care does not accept responsibility or liability for any items delayed in transit or extended delivery terms by the carrier due to geographical delivery location or events beyond our control.
Spec-Care reserves the right to choose its preferred carrier.
For extra peace of mind, you can choose our added insurance delivery option. This is only available in our gold and platinum service tiers. We insure the package for loss or damage to a maximum like for like replacement of £500.
Refunds & Cancellations
Spec-Care will contact you with full costing before payment is made. This is normally by e-invoice notification.
You have the right to cancel the service at any time before full payment has been made. Should you cancel the service we will return your spectacles by the regular shipping method. A carriage and handling charge of £9.50 will apply.
Refunds will only be issued by the original payment method.

This service covers spectacles that are not broken or snapped but require assembly or basic maintenance.
This service includes standard reconditioning.

- Nylon cord has broken (semi rimless frame type)

Repair to broken frame.
Included in these service tiers Silver Gold Platinum
Includes plastic or metal frames that have a physical break and require a repair or replacement of a missing part. Includes repairs to rimless and titanium frames.
This service includes standard reconditioning.

Professional reconditioning.
Included in these service tiers Gold Platinum
Plastic frames are highly polished using our professional mops to restore frame surface to best condition. Metal frames are emersed in electroplating plating solutions to restore gold (24K and 14 K), rose gold (14K), Rhodium (silver) and black nickel (gunmetal).

Utilising UVC rays 253.7 nm to eliminate any microorganisms and sterilise your eyewear for ultimate cleaning peace of mind.
Platinum Service.
Platinum
Our platinum service is our highest level, with individual assessment report, breakdown of parts cost and when needed replacement charge.

Delivery Services
Standard UK Delivery & Insurance
Spec-Care will select the Royal Mail (Signed For) or DX (B2C) delivery service. The service will include a maximum of a £50 loss or damage liability insurance.*

Premium UK Delivery & Insurance
A DHL or equivalent tracked and insured courier service will be used. The service will include a maximum of a £500 loss or damage liability insurance.*
Included in these service tiers Gold Platinum
Deliveries outside of the UK will be quoted on an individual basis by Spec-Care. Spec-Care reserves the right to select which courier and services are used. *Loss and damage liability insurance is limited to goods in transit and care of lenses whilst in Spec-Cares’ possession only. All frame repairs are undertaken at the senders own risk.
